Book Launch: STUDENTS AND SECRETS, ANOTHER MURDER : A Twisty Cozy Mystery (Sheridan Hendley Mysteries #12)

It has been a busy launch week! I want to share the latest in the Sheridan Hendley Mysteries:

“For readers who love a simple, well-written murder mystery that teases possible culprits throughout, leaves potential clues and misdirections, all while avoiding gratuitous violence, language, and sexual scenes, this is the perfect read.” G. Leishman for Readers' Favorite

“This standalone tale is a must-read for anyone seeking a rousing, entertaining whodunit that checks every single box for mystery fans.” D. Jaggart for Readers' Favorite

She came for a weekend of festivities, stayed to solve a murder, and became the killer’s next target.

When amateur sleuth Sheridan Hendley visits her stepdaughter Maddie’s university for festivities honoring local veterans, murder is the last thing on her mind. But a man has been found dead on campus, and a photograph in his wallet leads police straight to Maddie’s dorm. The young woman in the picture, eighteen-year-old Lissa, shared a suite with Maddie’s best friend. Lissa’s refusal to answer questions makes her and her protective older brother, Dan, prime suspects.

When Lissa’s family asks Sheridan and Maddie to help clear their names, they discover Neal Fox was hardly the innocent victim he appeared to be. Drugs are found in his apartment, and his connections to more than one young woman open the door to plenty of motives and suspects. When Sheridan’s dog Charlie finds a clue to the killer, threats turn into dangerous accidents and an attempted assault.

As Sheridan and Maddie sort fact from rumor, secrets are revealed, not only on campus. A naval officer shows up too conveniently as does Lissa’s grandfather. It’s hard to know who to trust with surprises at every turn. Although this is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone mystery.

As always, I appreciate the feedback from my beta and ARC readers.
